Ving Rhames and another damn Zombie Apocalypse
Those crazy dudes from The Asylum are at it again, but this time they just might have something on their hands. Hailed as one of their biggest productions to date, Zombie Apocalypse is currently filming for its late December 27th DVD bow, with star Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction) who seemingly just can’t get out of a zombie apocalypse, as seen in Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead remakes.
Months after a zombie plague has wiped out 90 percent of the American population, a small group of survivors fight their way cross-country to a rumored refuge on the island of Catalina.
Zombie Apocalypse is directed by Nick Lyon (Species: The Awakening). Below are some first official set stills (via Dread Central):
