Vaughn offers a hint to a mutant in X-Men: First Class sequel

Director Matthew Vaughn dropped a hint in a recent interview about the one mutant the sequel to his X-Men: First Class (out June 3rd) he will add.

Oh, and I guess this could be considered a spoiler, if you’re an X-Men novice, but it does pertain to the June 3rd film.

We will only have one more new character. I won’t say who he…I won’t say who he or she is! But we will only be bringing one more new character in. Because, I think, as Professor X is in a wheelchair, Magneto needs to have a nemesis he can fight with. Someone that will be his equal. I know who it is. It would be nice if I could say something, but I can’t, mate!”

Hmmm. Thoughts X-fans?

And the continuity issues continue to stack up. If Vaughn watched the trilogy, then he would know that Charles was still able to walk when he met with Gene Grey, but she won’t be in this film.
