Update on TMNT reboot
Nothing much here, but Platinum Dunes producer Brad Fuller has been updating many of the studio’s upcoming films. We’ve already heard what he’s had to say about Freddy (here), Jason (here), and Monster Squad (here). Now, Fuller has given an update on their upcoming reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on his Twitter account. “Tmnt is coming along. We are working on the script and I hope to have many more details for you in 4 to 6 weeks,” he said. It’s nothing much, but it’s good to know the film is still a priority for the studio.
The only question is whether or not we’ll see the kid friendly turtles that we’ve seen on film or the dark, violent version fans have been asking for. Given the studio’s record with horror films, we could expect to see the later. What we do know that it will a live-action film mixing CG and suitmation.
