Underworld Awakening 3D to awaken a new trilogy
The Underworld franchise has come a long way since debuting in 2003. Three sequels have been spawned from the first film, and it looks like it won’t be stopping there. Shock Til You Drop was able to speak with Directors  Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein about moving beyond Underworld Awakening when it opens on January 20th, and revealed the “beginning of something new. I’ll say that our ending is totally leaving the door open for a future,” Stein said. Of course, this isn’t surprising at all as nearly all films today are written with the idea of making a sequel.
