True Lies 2 being directed by…Bill Paxton?
This is the weirdest damn thing I’ve heard in a good long while.
We all know that future projects starring Arnold Schwarzenegger are on hold due to his recent marital drama. We also all know about the always updating Tom Arnold on the sequel to Jim Cameron’s mega-hit, True Lies (here), and once again, Tom updated the status of True Lies 2, but with a twist.
“I’m very excited about him getting back to work on True Lies 2,” Tom Arnold says. “It’s a perfect movie for him.” From there, Tom told RumorFix that long-time Cameron collaborator Bill Paxton will direct the sequel. Soon.
The site contacted Schwarzenegger’s team and they said and repeated that all projects are on hold, but it is a possibility. Paxton has directed before, the underrated Frailty.

Honestly, I’ll believe when I see it. Tom Arnold has been speaking about a True Lies 2 for years, and nothing been seen. To me it’s just wishful thinking on his part.
