Transformers 3 moves to fifth all-time highest grossing film
While Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 will likely remain the highest grossing film of this year (here), Michael Bay’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon continues to move up the ladder. According to Box-office Mojo, the film has now moved to be the fifth highest grossing film of all-time with $1,078,719,461 worldwide. That puts the film just barely behind Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. However, that could likely be toppled before the film ends its theatrical run.
