Top Gun 2 gets writers
Talk about a sequel to Top Gun has been going on for a year now, and it looks as though those talks are getting serious now. Variety is reporting that Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz (Thor, X-men: First Class) have been hired to pen the script for Tony Scott’s sequel. The film isn’t planned to be a remake of the original film, and will focus on how times have change since the first film was released. However, it’s unknown when the film will get into production or when casting would begin.
