The Wolfman getting remade yet again for Universal?

Here’s a small little tidbit: Apparently, Universal is calling for another remake of the classic 1941 horror film that starred Lon Chaney, Jr. They just made one last year in Joe Johnson’s The Wolfman, starring Bencio Del Toro, Emily Blunt, and Anthony Hopkins. Bloody-Disgusting thinks this is going to be aimed for their new DTV line that brought us the fun Death Race 2 (here) and the upcoming Scorpion King 3.

Even though people down right hated that film, I dug the Director’s Cut (here). The film nabbed Rick Baker yet another Oscar. Could you howl for another franchise via DTV?
