The Tree of Life to be on Blu-ray only
Fox Searchlight has issued a press release announcing an October 11th release of Terrence Malick’s The Tree of Life, which will only come in a Blu-ray combo pack. This is the only way to buy the film, which is also the only way to get the DVD and Digital Copy of it. Their thinking probably lies in with who the director is and the appeal of the film, which is geared towards cinephiles, and not the mainstream.
