The Phantom Menace 3D trailer coming soon

Last month, fans were able to see the beauty of George Lucas’ Star Wars Saga on Blu-ray, and will soon be able to view the franchise in 3D starting next year. It will feature the always-hated post-conversion 3D, and that has gotten fans worried. However, USA Today is now reporting that we’ll get our first glimpse of the 3D conversion next Friday when it premiere’s before Paul W.S. Anderon’s The Three Musketeers.

Meanwhile, the site is also reporting that fan-favorite Darth Maul will be making a come back on The Clone Wars. Lucas has been trying to find a way to ressurect the character after getting cut in half by Obi-wan at the climax of The Phantom Menace. The series featured a similar character named Savage Opress, who will play a major role in Maul’s return. But don’t worry, this will be more than just a cameo.
