The Lovely Bones trailer

Today the trailer for Oscar winning director Peter Jackson‘s highly anticipated realization of Alice Sebold’s The Lovely Bones has premiered online and while it does not seem so mired in fantasy as that of the book the adaptation certainly looks fantastic in its own right.

The Lovely Bones stars Oscar nominees Saoirse Ronan, Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz, Susan Sarandon and opens in theatres nationwide on December 11, 2009.
