The Lone Ranger is Armie Hammer
Last month we told you about some casting news for Disney’s The Lone Ranger adaptation (here), with Armie Hammer looks good for the lead. It appears as though the deal as been inked and Hammer will in fact be the Lone Ranger. Johnny Depp is still attached to play Tonto and Gore Verbinski on hand to direct. Production is set to begin once Depp has complete his duties for Tim Burton on Dark Shadows.
