The Hobbit begins his journey in March
After a minor delay due to Director Peter Jackson’s surgery (here), The Hobbit is officially back on track. Production on the prequel to Jackson’s Lord of The Rings Trilogy was originally scheduled to begin later this month, but a new start date has been announced (via Coming Soon) for March 21. It’s unknown, but unlikely this will push the film’s release date back. Just think, it was just last year that many were wondering if this film would ever move forward because of MGM’s financial problems.
The Hobbit, Part I is scheduled for release in December of 2012.
