The Hangover 3 gets a writer

We already heard that Todd Phillips was interested in doing a third Hangover film (here), and when you have a box-office record breaker like The Hangover Part II, a sequel is a no-brainer.

According to Collider, Craig Mazin (Scary Movie 3, The Hangover Part II) has been hired to return and write the script for The Hangover 3. There’s idea of what’s in stored for The Wolfpack this time and Phillips did say this would end the trilogy. One complaint many have had with the second film was that it was basically a rehash of what happened in the first film, and hopefully that won’t be the case with this film.
