The Harry Potter franchise grosses over $7 Billion
The Harry Potter franchise was destined to be a hit after already being a popular book franchise, and the series ended with a bang after Part 2 of The Deathly Hallows made over half-billion within it’s first weekend. Warner Bros. has announced (via Coming Soon) today that the entire franchise itself has grossed over $7 Billion worldwide. Once again, no one should be surprised by these numbers as the franchise itself was already popular. Unfortunately for fans (and WB) the series is now over, but there’s always the off-chance that JK Rowling will write another novel. After all, the ending of The Deathly Hallows left it open to continue.
