The classic Bad Seed coming to Blu-ray
1956′s The Bad Seed is an outright classic, thanks to its influence on a sub-genre of “evil kid movies”, famously land-marked by Village of the Damned, The Omen, and Children of the Corn. Based on the stage play by playwright Maxwell Anderson, the film is anchored by a terrific performance by Patty McCormack, the young psychopathic killer. Blu-ray.com has announced that Warner Home Entertainment has set a release date for this immortal film on October 11th, 2011 for its first ever Blu-ray release.
No extras or specs have been announced, since it’s an early release info, but this could be the HD genre disc to own this Fall.
