The Boondock Saints heading to TV

In my interview with director Troy Duffy (here) a year ago for the film’s 10th anniversary, he told me he was going to wait a bit before jumping into a Boondock Saints 3, but it looks like that film might be a TV series now, according to We Got This Covered, who interviewed the director again.

“We’ve been approached to do a possible Boondock Saints TV series. So the fans may be getting a part 3 as a television show. We might be able to pull that off…. I actually called both Sean and Norman and they both said “hell yeah, we’ll drop everything,” said Duffy.

Of course, Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus will reprise their characters and the series would be on cable, not network TV, due to the violence and cussing.
