The Avengers to assemble in post-conversion 3D
We heard a good while ago that Joss Whedon’s The Avengers would be making the right move to be shot in 3D rather than post-converted unlike Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger. However, The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) confirmed on his Twitter the film will actually be post-converted rather than shot in 3D.
Many already hate the sound of post-conversion 3D, and it’s understandable given its reputation. But there weren’t many complaints (at least from what I’ve heard) about the post-conversion for Thor, and hopefully Captain America won’t have any 3D problems.

I wasnt keen on the 3D in Thor, it gave me a really bad headache, as most post converted stuff does. Its certainly disappointing that the Avengers will be post converted.

I never saw Thor in 3D, but I just got my first post-conversion 3D experience with Green Lantern, and it was pretty bad. I think I’ll be viewing this film in 2D.
Just say no to post-conversion.
