Teresa Palmer gets into necrophilia with zombies in Warm Bodies
The Wackness director, Jonathan Levine is adapting Warm Bodies, a new novel forthcoming from author Isaac Marion. The film will now star Teresa Palmer (I am Number Four, Take Me Home Tonight) and Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class).
Early on, the flick is being marketed as Twilight meets Shaun of the Dead, and as First Showing says, the story follows an existentially tormented zombie named R that begins an unlikely friendship with the human girlfriend (Palmer) of one of his victims. The blossoming relationship starts a chain reaction that will transform him, his fellow zombies and maybe the whole lifeless world.
Sounds charming. The film is being developed at Summit Entertainment, so this Twilight relation is understandable, since those films have literally made the studio into the powerhouse they are today. Thoughts?
