Takashi Miike’s Ninja Kids being remade for Americans?

Takashi Miike just might be more popular now than when his Audition first broke in the States, as THR is saying that his latest in Ninja Kids is heading into American remake territory soon.

The live-action film is based on a long-running manga and anime series about the adventures of a group of young apprentices at a ninja academy. Unfortunately, there’s little else known on this proposed remake, although I can already seeing it in the vein of Spy Kids…ugh.
