Star Trek 2 “maybe” in 3D

We’ve already heard earlier this year that Abrams is considering shooting Star Trek 2 in 3D (here), but now What’s Playing is hearing the studio is pressuring him to make the film in 3D. Why? Apparently, because George Lucas is re-releasing his Star Wars Saga in 3D starting next February with The Phantom Menace. However, it’s not certain Star Trek 2 will be in 3D, and as of right now it’s just a “maybe”. But we should hear something official this year at Comic-con as production is said to begin this September.

Star Trek in 3D? Sounds like it could be fun.
