So where’s Mortal Kombat: Legacy episode 9?

For the past two months, fans have enjoyed and debated Kevin Tancharoen’s Mortal Kombat: Legacy web series, which has been airing at midnight on Machinima/Youtube, but don’t look for the final episode in Cyrax and Sektor.

Tancharoen on his Twitter, stated the finale episode of Season One will not air normally, but will have a special first screening at Comic-Con, July 21st-24th, before airing online.

While he didn’t elaborate as to why, but it might have something to do with its eventual Season Two announcement, the Blu-ray/DVD release date, or possibly something else.
