Smallville to get a 2-hour finale
After 10 great seasons, The CW’s Smallville will be coming to an end. But that’s not to say the series won’t be going out with a bang. The CW has announced (via Collider) the series finale will air a 2-hour episode on May 13th. The episode will feature Clark “taking on Darkseid and battling the darkest of his demons, this two-hour event will send Clark soaring towards his birthright to secure his place in history as the world’s greatest protector”. Unfortunately, for Smallville fans, this will be the one and only time (at least for now) they will see Tom Welling don the red and blue tights as Henry Cavill was cast in the role for Snyder’s reboot (here).
Hopefully, the entire episode will feature Clark in the suit, and not just the last few moments.

I think you mean after the first three great seasons, with 7 seasons not as good and well … Truly down hill. I shouldn’t hate on the show, but they’ve told a crusty story in all honesty.

For me the show started to slide after Papa Kent died then splashed in the crapper when Rossenbaum and John Glover left.
But you’re right, S 1-3 of Smallville were top notch.

I’ve enjoyed all the seasons. I can’t wait to see this finale.

All the Tom Welling fanboys and girls must be pissed.
As we predicted, he won’t be playing the MOS in Snyder’s reboot.
LOL!

Haha. Welling never had a chance.
By all accounts Welling was never on Snyder’s or the studio’s radar.
