Simon Russell in talks for Bond 23

Just think, it was a week ago that fans were thinking James Bond wouldn’t return anytime soon as the film was delayed yet again. However, it was announced yesterday the film was given an official release date (here). With the film now back on track, casting is already getting underway. Stage actor Simon Russell revealed to The Telegraph that he’s up for a role in Sam Mendes’ film. No word on who he’ll play, but it will be a protagonist. Although, it’s too early for anything official.

James Bond will return on November 9, 2012.
