Sienna Guillory officially confirmed for Resident Evil: Retribution

Fans were outraged when they learned that Sienna Guillory wouldn’t be returning in Resident Evil: Retribution, even after the previous film featured her return.

Since then, director Paul WS. Anderson has met with Guillory about returning, and she announced that she would be returning herself (here).

But since this issue has caused such outrage towards fans, actress Milla Jovovich has once again confirmed (via Bloody-Disgusting) Guillory’s involvement. “I can’t reply right now, but wanted 2 let u all know that Sienna Guillory @guillorybe closed her deal on the new RE movie! we r so excited,” she posted. It’s unknown how big of a role she’ll play in the film. But hopefully Anderson doesn’t make us go through all this controversy for a small part in the film. Then again, other fan-favorites like Ada Wong, Leon Kennedy and Barry Burton will also be getting some screen-time in the film.

Resident Evil: Retribution opens on September 14th, 2012.

    Jill Valentine has to be iN the thick of things in RE: Retribution.

    And must survive.
