Sector 7 will be in 3D
The popularity of 3D isn’t limited to just Hollywood anymore. We’ve already heard that a new 3D Gamera film could be in the works (here), and that The Host 2 will also be released in 3D (here). Now, Scifi Japan reports the Korean monster film, Sector 7, will also be in 3D. Most of the film will be post-converted, but a considerable amount was shot with 3D cameras.
Sectors 7 was directed by Kim Ji-hoon, and is about a monster terrorizing workers on an oil rig. The film is said to be the equivalent to Ridley Scott’s Alien. Director Kim Ji-hoon is currently in post-production on the film with CJ Entertainment (The Host, Thirst).
Sector 7 opens in Korea this summer.
