SDCC ’11: Teaser poster for The Avengers

The official site for Marvel’s The Avengers has posted a new teaser poster for the upcoming ensemble film directed by Joss Whedon. The film will star Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Chis Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Mark Rufallo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

The Avengers opens on May 4th, 2012.
