Rumor: Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Batman role revealed
Let’s face it, it wasn’t long before these kind of rumors starting surfacing. The Dark Knight Rises has a long history of rumors based upon the villains, and it’s no different after hearing that Joseph Gordon Levitt was in talks to join the cast (here). Comic Book Movies is hearing from an unknown source that Levitt is set to portray Alberto Falcone AKA The Holiday Killer in The Dark Knight Rises. The character is the son of Carmine Falcone (Tom Wilkinson in Batman Begins), and returns to Gotham to take over the criminal underworld after The Joker destroyed it in The Dark Knight. It’s only a rumor at this point, but not an impossible one.
Hopefully, we’ll get something official on Levitt’s role soon.

The Long Halloween was used for The Dark Knight, so it will likely be different for this film. It’s rumored to be based upon “Prey”, but there’s no confirmation on that yet.

Yeah, the Dent story, but I see no reason why they couldn’t adapt the Holiday Killer portion into this one. Any way they do it, it’s gonna rock.
Hope it’s true, Levitt was great in Inception.
