Robocop remake back online

Yesterday, we heard that Darren Aronofsky was still interested in making his remake to the classic Robocop (here). The film was the only project that was actually canned when MGM went under (here), But Varitey is now reporting the studio is now moving forward with the remake. There’s no word if Aronofsky is involved in the project, but it’s safe to assume that he won’t be directing. It all depends on how fast the studio wants the film made as Aronofsky will be busy with The Wolverine this year.

In addition, the studio is also moving forward with remakes for Poltergeist, The Idolmaker, Mr. Mom, and Hercules.
