Robocop reboot has a writer
MGM is moving ahead full-steam with their reboot of the classic film Robocop. A director was recently hired (here), and now it looks as though a new writer has been tapped. Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Joshua Zetumer (Infiltrator) to pen the script for the film. The original script was written by David Self, but that was when Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan, The Wrestler) was still on board. It’s unknown what direction this new film will take, but MGM is hoping to make it into a new franchise.
