Robin McLeavy joins Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter after all
While Robin McLeavy was originally thought to be the wife of Abraham Lincoln (Benjamin Walker) in Timur Bekmambetov’s Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (here), that role ended up going to Mary Elizabeth Winstead instead (here). However, Deadline Hollywood is reporting that McLeavy will indeed star in the film, but as Lincoln’s mother. Her role is brief, but an important one to say the least. Her character is what sets the tone of the film, and what sets our 16th President off to kill vampires.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is scheduled to be released on June 22, 2012.
