Rene Russo jokes about Thor sequels

We all know, when there’s a potential franchise on the studio’s hands, they sign the cast to a deal for multiple pictures. Just look at Chris Evans and Sam Jackson’s 9-movie deal with Marvel. With the pending blockbuster from Marvel and Paramount this May 6th, in Thor, E! Online caught up with Rene Russo and asked her about Thor 2 and beyond for her character as Thor’s mommy, Frigga.

“Eventually they’ll kick me out, so who knows how many I’ll do.” Smart and not-so-subtle. I can’t imagine further use of Frigga past this film. It’s not like she’ll turn up in The Avengers. It’s safe to assume Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston will return as Thor and Loki in further sequels.

But let’s make Thor a huge hit first, fan boys/girls, okay?
