Pete Postlethwaite passes at 64

What a terrible way to start off the new year. BBC News is reporting that Pete Postlethwaite has passed away at the age of 64. Journalist and friend Andrew Richardson died peacefully in a hospital in Shropshire after a long battle with Cancer.

Postlethwaite was first diagnosed with  testicular cancer in 1990, but died yesterday. He first begin his acting career on stage and many TV shows, but began making movies. Postlethwaite has starred in several films from Bryan Singers The Usual Suspects, The Lost World: Jurrasic Park, James and the Giant Peach, Clash of the Titans (2010), Inception, and The Town. It was for his role In the Name of the Father that he received an Oscar nomination.

He will be missed.
