Pet Sematary remake moving forward

Yep, another day, another classic horror film getting a remake. Work on a remake for Pet Sematary began in 2010 when Paramount Pictures hired Matthew Greenberg (1408) to pen the script. The Los Angeles Times is now reporting that Greenberg is set to turn in the script soon, according to an inside source. The studio is now beginning to look for an A-list director to tackle the project. No word on who the studio has in mind just yet, but we could be hearing a few names soon. However, Paramount has declined to comment on the report.
