Paul Giamatti a Klingon in Star Trek 2?

Paramount has just gave the go-ahead for production to start on JJ Abrams’ Star Trek 2. And while any details of the script are tightly sealed, Paul Giamatti made it clear to The Portland Mercury that he wants to be a Klingon.

“It’s always been frustrating to me, because really, I just want to be, like, a Klingon or something. I really would love to play a Klingon. It’s like, goddammit, will I ever get to play a Klingon?”

It’s been widely speculated that Klingons would be featured in the sequel, but obviously, it’s too early to tell. But c’mon, how cool would it be to see Giamatti improvise that Klingon speak?
