Paradise Lost has found its Gabriel, and may have found its Eve
The cast for Alex Proyas’ Paradise Lost continues to grow with Bradley Cooper attached to play Lucifer and Benjamin Walker attached as the Archangel Michael. Bloody-Disgusting is now reporting that Casey Affleck has been cast as the Archangel Gabriel. For those who don’t know their knowledge of the Bible, Gabriel is a “six-winged angel, Gabriel was created by God to serve as a messenger.”
Meanwhile, Deadline is reporting that Camilla Belle is the top choice to play Eve in Proyas’ adaptation. Nothing is official on her deal yet, but it’s certainly a role many actresses are vying for. Eve is the character that sparks the war this adaptation will focus on.
