Official title for Underworld 4 announced

Screen Gems has announced the official title for the new Underworld film, currently shooting for its January 20th, 2012 release date and it’s….Underworld: Awakening. It was unofficially known as Underworld 4: New Dawn 3D.

Beckinsale returns as the vampire warrioress Selene, who escapes imprisonment to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans, and are conducting an all-out war to eradicate both immortal species. Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein direct.
