Now, it’s Stone Cold vs. Machete!
Man, Austin loves beating up on 80s action stars, huh? First, he smacks around Stallone in The Expendables. Soon he’ll whup up on Dolph Lundgren in The Package (here). And now, he’s going one-on-one with Machete himself, Danny Trejo in Recoil.
The film is being directed by Terry Miles and written by the DTV Prophecy sequels scribe, John Sullivan. The plot to this potential bad-ass showdown: “After the murder of his family, former cop John Varrett goes vigilante in order to find the criminals that have slipped through the system and exercise his own brand of ruthless justice.” Guess who plays who.
The film will look for buyers soon at the Cannes Film Market.
