No plans for Kick-Ass 2

While Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass wasn’t a huge box-office success, the film did improve on DVD/Blu-ray sales. Mark Millar then claimed the sequel Kick-Ass 2: Balls To The Wall was green-lit for a 2012 release (here). However, we’ve since been hearing nothing but bad news on the sequel, and it seems now that we won’t be seeing the film anytime soon.

Absolute Radio has posted on their Youtube page an interview with Screenwriter Jane Goldman bringing more bad news about the film. You can hear her comments on the film at 1: 37.

  1. This one doesn’t upset me that much. KICK-ASS was one of the most overrated movies from last year. I love Cage and Moretz, but didn’t care much for the rest of the movie.
