Nicholas Hoult to Summit’s zombie film Warm Bodies

Fancy a new zombie film? Well Summit Entertainment who acquired the rights to the film Warm Bodies last year have found the film’s leading man. X-Men: First Class‘s Nicholas Hoult has been cast in the lead role for Bodies, which is based upon a novel by Isaac Marion. The book itself was first published through his personal website and it then got picked up Atria Books. The story is about a zombie who forms a kind of friendship with a young woman, who happens to be the girlfriend of one of his victims.

Production on the film is set to start this summer, with Jonathan Levine (The Wackness) in the director’s chair. He also wrote adapted the script from the novel. The film is being produced by Bruna Papandrea (if that surname rings a bell … she’s my sister) through her company Make Movies. Laurie Webb and Cori Shepherd Stern are on board as Executive Producers.
