New Final destination 3D title and photos released

The upcoming 4TH installment in the popular horror franchise Final Destination has for a while now been touted as being in 3D and would involve a big crash at a race track as the catalyst for the events in the film, and we now know that the upcoming film will have the new title Final Destination: Death Trip 3D.  Now as cheesy as that title sounds i’m actually diggin the new change quite a bit.

Here is the official plot synopsis of the upcoming film per bloodydisgusting :  On what should have been a fun-filled day at the races, Nick O’Bannon has a horrific premonition in which a bizarre sequence of events causes multiple race cars to crash, sending flaming debris into the stands, brutally killing his friends and causing the upper deck of the stands to collapse on him. When he comes out of this grisly nightmare Nick panics, persuading his girlfriend, Lori, and their friends, Janet and Hunt, to leave… escaping seconds before Nick’s frightening vision becomes a terrible reality. Thinking they’ve cheated death, the group has a new lease on life, but unfortunately for Nick and Lori, it is only the beginning. As his premonitions continue and the crash survivors begin to die one-by-one–in increasingly gruesome ways–Nick must figure out how to cheat death once and for all before he, too, reaches his final destination. The film marks the latest in the highly popular “Final Destination” series, and its first 3D installment, giving horror fans an especially visceral thrill ride.

I am a self aware film freak, and though many people believe it to border on fanaticism, I have always had a desire to be somehow connected to film. I have a very strong affection for horror films of all kinds, though judging from my film library many consider me to be a bit schizophrenic in my choices. For years now I have been the sole film critic for those around me as my head is basically an encyclopedia of film knowledge. I can always use examples from movies to answer questions or to solve problems that my friends may have.
