More Jurassic Park 4 chit-chat
While the Jurassic Park trilogy will be enjoying its first ever Blu-ray release in October, production on the much-talked about fourth film has been just that – talk. With Michael Crichton passed, Spielberg uninterested, that hasn’t stopped Sam Neill or Universal from keeping a Jurassic Park 4 from death, and in a recent interview, Joe Johnston who helmed the easy-going and fun Jurassic Park III, talked (there’s that word again) about a new entry in the franchise, with some interesting tidbits.
“We are in discussions about Jurassic Park 4. The most important thing I can tell you is that it starts a new trilogy that will go off in a different direction — a completely different direction that is very exciting, and different from anything we’ve seen. It starts with the history of the first trilogy, but it spins it off in a completely different direction. That’s all I can tell you.”
Sounds like a reboot. Thoughts?
