More casting for Wrath of the Titans
Casting for Jonathan Liebsman’s Wrath of the Titans is officialy underway. We heard just recently that Edgar Ramirez has been offered the role of the God of War, Ares in sequel (here). The Wrap is now reporting that  Toby Kebbell (The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time) has been offered the role of Agenor, the son of Triopas in the sequel. Kebbell has yet to be confirmed for the role, but is reportedly just about to accept it.
In addition, Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger, The Pillars of Earth) is on the shortlist to replace Alexa Davalos as Adromeda the princess of Argos. Other actresses are also being that include Georgina Haig (Wasted on the Young), Janet Montgomery (Black Swan), Dominique McElligott (Moon) and Clemence Poesy (Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows). No word on when testing will begin, but we can expect the role to be filled soon enough as production is scheduled for this Spring. Bill Nighy (Pirates of the Carribean 2: Dead Man’s Chest, Underworld) is a being considered for the role of Hephaestus, the son of Zeus and Hera, but his involvement isn’t official just yet.
