More 3D re-releases from Disney

Surprised? I don’t know why you should be. After The Lion King 3D has made $80 million since its release, Disney is now wanting to convert even more of their classic films to 3D. Walt Disney Studios announced (via Cinema Blend) they’ll be releasing Beauty and The Beast in 3D on January 13th and Finding Nemo 3D on September 14th, 2012. But that’s only for 2012, the studio has set Monsters Inc. 3D for release on January 18th, 2013, with the prequel coming later that year.

This just continues the trend of re-releasing classic films in 3D, with Top Gun and Star Wars coming next year.
