Mike and Sully to attend Monsters University

We heard back in January that Pixar’s follow-up to Monsters Inc. could be a prequel rather than a sequel (here). At Cinema Con (via Cinema Blend), Disney/Pixar now confirms that, and the film’s title will be Monsters University. The film will tell how Sully (John Goodman) and Mike (Billy Crystal) met, hated each other, but eventually became friends. There’s no word if Goodman and Crystal will reprise their roles just yet.

Monsters University is slated to open on November 2nd, 2012.
