Marvel setting their 2014 line-up

It’s an understatement to say that Marvel Studios likes to plan ahead as they have Joss Whedon’s The Avengers scheduled for next May, with Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 the following summer.

Walt Disney Pictures has now announced (via Coming Soon) that two mystery films are targeted for release in 2014. The first is set for May 16th, which is just two weeks after Sony’s sequel to Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-man (here). The second is scheduled for June 27th. Now, the biggest question is what films are being scheduled? We’ve already heard that a seqeul to Captain America: The First Avenger is in the works, but that still leaves several other planned spin-off, sequels, or adaptations to be considered.
