Maleficent finally gets a director
It’s taken a while for Disney to find a replace for their live-action film Maleficent after Tim Burton left the project to make Dark Shadows. However, Deadline is reporting that newcomer Robert Stromberg will be making his directorial debut with the film. Sure, fans are always skeptical about having a rookie attached to a big film, but Stromberg has worked as Production Designer on other big films such as Avatar. The script was written for Angelina Jolie to star, but it’s unknown if she’s still on board.
