Liam Neeson returns as Qui-Gon Jinn

Sorry, this is not for a sequel to Episode I: The Phantom Menace. I know you’re all disappointed, but Neeson is returning to voice the character – who died by the lightsabers of Darth Maul – in the Stars Wars – The Clone Wars animated series, according to EW.

The two episodes will air January 28th and February 11th on the Cartoon Network. Neeson told EW: “These characters resonate…even after all these years…. Growing up, my heroes were cowboys; they were strong and mysterious, and it seemed like they always rode off into the sunset. For kids today, Star Wars has that same kind of magic. I really wanted to be a part of that.”

  1. Not a fan of the series, but anything with Liam Neeson is worth a watch. But I’m more interested in the episode when Anakin’s padawan turns to the dark side.
