Latest Word on Supernatural’s Fate
The latest news on The CW‘s Supernatural is that the upcoming season five will indeed be the last season.
Creator Eric Kripke says that while we are nearing the end of his planned five-season arc, that doesn’t mean he couldn’t pick up with a brand-new arc afterwards. He stated “Buffy did it. The X-Files did it. You close a chapter on a big mythology storyline and then you begin a new one.”
Personally, I’d love to see it continue. If not, I hope they at least give it some good closure, not a sudden unfinished ending as happens to so many series these days.
