Kneel before Viggo Mortensen?

We already have a our new Man of Steel in Henry Cavill (here) in the upcoming Superman reboot, and now we need a powerful villain to take him on. We’ve already heard a rumor that point to General Zod as the villain ( here) despite Director Zack Snyder dismissing that claim (here). Now, sources are telling The Hollywood Reporter that Viggo Mortensen is a “person of interest” to play General Zod. No discussions have taken place, and Mortensen is still circling a role in Snow White and The Huntsman for Universal Studios.
